Typically, engagement sessions take place in parks, on pretty farm-settings and in the middle of a bustling city…which is why I was so excited when one of our 2015 brides asked if we could shoot their save-the-date portraits on a mountaintop! With the bright fall colors and the gorgeous ring I had already seen and gushed over and most importantly, the beautiful love between Tiffany and fiancé Nick, I knew these photos were going to be out of this world. The only setback was actually a big one…our part of New York had experienced a real drought over the summer and so depending on the location, leaves were completely green and still on the trees or they were brown and on the ground already!! Because of my ankle injury, it was impossible for me to do a site visit and scope out the area to see what I was working with. Fortunately, although a little green, we had a breathtaking backdrop that epitomized fall. So on a chilly, REALLY dark fall morning, we set out and drove up a long and bouncy road to our location. With the sun just coming over the horizon, the halo of golden light was to die for! Perfect timing, perfect location and the perfect couple!

Can you tell I LOVE their color choice? Purple!

Gorgeous!!

That golden light. Sigh!

Have you ever seen a more perfect ring?!

Congratulations, Tiff & Nick!
