While it’s almost unbelievable that 2017 is just about over, I always get excited every time this year because I get to write this post!! Since I’ve started this blog, I’ve loved to go through all the weddings and sessions we shot throughout the year and to post my favorites; it helps me re-live all the adventures I’ve been on and all the gorgeousness that myself and my second shooters have created in those 365 days! Beautiful and fun, take a peek at the joys and excitement that 2017 brought us! (With captions to match!!)

Making our clients look like the ONLY ones on the famous Highline in NYC!

Veil shots were UNBELIEVABLE this year!!

So were our petal tosses for some extra glow!

This season started with a blizzard and ended with one, but we had plenty of beach time in between!

The shot of a lifetime!

…and the making of it. That water was COLD!

We had clients fly in from SO many countries and states! (Daniel and Laura flew in from England for their proposal!)

And of course our proposal reactions would make a linebacker cry

We weren’t lacking gorgeous ring shots, that’s for sure

I tucked my clients into hidden gems of locations

And it made for some serious portrait magic!

October and November were our craziest months for wedding season…

…we shot 35 hours in 3 days one weekend!

But we stil had the energy for fun behind-the-scenes shots

Including that time I brought my sweet Momma to Mexico with me and she watched the wedding from the beachside bar! (she’s so cute)

These high school sweethearts took portraits outside the school where they met. Love!

We drove to Pittsburgh for this amazing couple’s rustic, barn wedding!

And we ended the year in ANOTHER blizzard! (It literally snowed ALL day!)

We maximized our glow potential

And stretched golden hour as far as it could go! (That sunset!!!)

One of the secrets to our veil shots!

My clients flew me all over, too! Including to the beautiful island of Maui.

Our proposals were as romantic as you can possibly imagine

This past October was made for engagement sessions…try 14!

Not only were our couples amazing…but their rings were, too!

Just 2 days after returning from our Pittsburgh wedding, I was off to Düsseldorf, Germany to capture another wedding!

I shot their proposal in Brooklyn last May! We’ve become close friends and I am planning my trip back to visit in 2018!

I got to pose ring shots on a set of bangles (ah!! The COLORS!)

And I introduced my proposal clients to the super friendly Central Park squirrels

Like I was saying about our proposal reactions…

Not to be outdone by bridesmaids’ reactions!

I met so many new wonderful souls…and also reunited with some old ones

Including our Mexico couple…I went to school with the bride and her sis!

And while our last wedding of the year ended with a blizzard, our Mexico wedding ended like this. WHAT. A. YEAR!

I’m so eternally grateful for the love and support I receive every year and I am so blessed to have such loyal and excited followers who appreciate and enjoy our work and posts year round. Thanks SO much for joining us on this photography journey and I can’t wait to share all that’s to come in 2018. JOY and PEACE in the new year!
