I had the absolute pleasure of covering the perfect bridal shower this weekend…literally, perfect! Everything from the pretty restaurant to the girly and fun details made this event every bride’s dream. You might remember beautiful bride-to-be Taylor from her swoon-worthy Pace Law School Proposal:

Michael & Taylor: The Proposal

Still one of our most romantic proposals to-date, I was not the least bit surprised when I stepped into the dining room the day of the shower and saw hints of that immense love everywhere. Did I mention that Taylor’s instagram hashtag is #taylormadeformichael? I know, just try to hold in your “AWs!” because I certainly can’t. Aside from their adorable love story, Taylor has some seriously incredible style…which makes me that much more excited for their September wedding! Taylor’s gorgeous and sleek shower style included flawless makeup, a beautiful up-do and glistening accessories. As I said to her and mom, Jeryl, literally every guest in the room looked like a model…every single one! The fashion and the style helped make this day even prettier.

Because I absolutely love connecting with my clients and getting to know them, very often do I form inside jokes and close bonds with them. This means come event-day, we are laughing and joking and chatting more like friends than like stiff business people (how lame). So during the shower, I curiously asked if Taylor’s sister, Alex, was an Alexandra (I have NO idea why this idea had just dawned on me.) When she said yes, I laughed that MY full name is Alexandra Taylor! The T. in Alexandra T. Wren Photography stands for Taylor! In 25 years I have only met one other Alexandra and never a Taylor, let alone sisters named Alexandra AND Taylor. Clearly, I was destined to be Taylor’s wedding photog and friend!

I had a blast capturing the excitement and the radiating love at this shower and with it floating around the venue like confetti, it certainly made my job easy!
