The only thing as fun as shooting for family is shooting for friends who feel like family!! I love crossing paths with people I’ve grown up with and doing photos for them years down the road; seeing where we all are in life and re-connecting is one of the absolute most fulfilling aspects of being a photographer. I was speaking with another photog the other day about how tight-knit the emergency services community is in our county; everyone knows everyone and I can honestly say that in my first year of business, most of my client base was made up of fellow fire fighters!! Meaghan is from a fire department family like I am, so we can totally relate (second to our love of HGTV!) When she messaged me about shooting her baby shower, it wasn’t a “yes” it was an “um, YES!!” Meaghan’s bridal shower vision included beautiful and timeless portraits outside the gorgeous and historic Old ’76 House in Tappan, New York. The butterfly-themed shower featured pretty purple and pink accents and paid homage to the lost love ones who baby girl Kellianne will be named after. The absolute sweetest of showers!
